"Fanged Fun" sounds like a vampire themed game. After reading the description, I don't see the relevance.

No, I didn't see it before the giveaway ended.

I included the info about the time because the page showed the time as "August 1st, 2011 at 1:07 am," which would mean it was already over, not the time it was in my zone. How can you tell from it whether the GAOTD has ended, when it doesn't reflect the local time?

I'm doing this online using a local WIFI--I can't reboot anything except my PC. Would that have helped?

I hope you managed to see my responce before the giveaway ended? You don't need to quote times as each post has a time stamp included. :)

Just like yesterday, I can't install it: I repeatedly get
"Failed to connect. Please try again." I have tried several times, redownloading it each time. I have cleared the cache. I have Vista Home Premium.

Please tell me what the problem is. I think it's with GAOTD, because yesterday's game and today's are from different companies.

Try rebooting your modem and/or router. If that doesn't work clear out your internet cache. If it was a problem from this end there would be a lot more posts regarding this issue. It doesn't matter that the games come from different developers; if it was the gamegiveawayoftheday's fault it would be down to their servers. :)

*sigh* Now that I have a chance to play around with it a bit more, I see that it does indeed have a level editor. (That's what I get for writing comments while I have a nasty cold, I guess...)

Anyway, while I'd still like to see more than 20 bundled levels, the level editor is a great touch.

For the mouse problems, are people using wireless mice?

Anyways, I've made it to level 17, and it has been mostly fun, although repeating a level 30 times to get the right solution does get a little boring.

One tip you learn the hard way is that green can only touch the green pads and red can only touch the red pads, and if either colour goes of screen, the level restarts.

Most of the levels don't require split action timing, but so far my wireless mouse has been handling it ok without making any changes to the settings.

I like this style of game, but this one frustrated me after three levels. Too much dependence on mouse response speed and not enough on brain power.

Liked the idea, didn't like the result.

Thank you for the offer, but I'm getting rid of this one.

I like the game and the sound track but the game often ignores clicks of the mouse which winning the the game relies on. The fun is drained away and turns into frustration dealing with the lazy response to the mouse clicks with the moving objects..

HiYa,
just a quick reminder we can go to mouse settings properties and adjust the lag time on the pc, not to say that some of these WPgames are suited for those living @mock speeds- (took me forever to whup fortside)

well the site says it's been downloaded, but I can't find it anywhere, same thing happened for me last week with the mad shapes. I have the confirmation and yet the computer says it's not here anywhere, frustrating

do you have flash player installed? The game is a flash game so requires Adobe Flash Player. Are you saying the executable can't be found or the installed game. The installed game defaults to C://games folder, hopefully you'll see the game there.

when you download the executable change the download path to your desktop. No one else has posted a comment with this problem so it looks like it's at your end. Is your firewall blocking the download? or maybe your provider? (Just making suggestions)
