An exciting puzzle game to control a ball, which can be either white or black.

Just when you thought the alien invasion was successfully fought off once and for all, new waves of alien scum come in numbers far greater then 5 years ago. The government is alarmed.

An abstract from an official intelligence report: Our satellites have located as many as fifty alien interceptors rapidly approaching planet Earth. Detailed analysis of the digital image data revealed a larger object as well. Without a doubt, it's the Big Brain, thought to be killed 5 years ago. Looks like we should start a search for a new hero right now!

Who is going to win this time? Will the humanity be able to form a force capable of stopping the attackers? Or will all humans be enslaved by an alien civilization that came from a far away galaxy?

Same as #13 & #20. I get the "Gamma control not supported" error box popping up multiple times upon startup and have to use task manager to get out. I wish I knew how to fix this error message. Looks like a great game.

I can't get the game to run - no errors, and I see the exe and img files running in the processes, but nothing ever shows up to play. I'm running XP with all the latest patches, too.

After playing both the first and second Crusaders of Space offered here, I definately think that the smaller ship size feels better to control. However I did notice that if you opened up your notebook to view the enemy types after defeating the last enemy, when you move to the next level you're stuck in it and are unable to see the enemies. That doesn't stop them from firing at you though.

Overall good job, but keep tweeking.

I loved the first one and this one is even better. Thanks Alawar, love all your games. Thanks to GGOTD for this site. Some people may complain about getting free stuff, but not me. Also thanks to WhiteRabbit for the help and information.

Comment #20 Cheryl, Sorry I'm at a loss. I don't exactly know what you're asking (partly due to my morpine soaked head---prescription based). However if you don't have a Gamma control you can get a freeware controller from the following address:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Video-Tweak/DarkAdapted.shtml

Basically it allows you to adjust your screen brightness and color to give the best possible look for your personal taste, as well as to increase the brightness of games that have dark backgrounds, much like the Crusaders games. I'm no expert so I hope someone else can help a little more on this one. However installing the controller just may solve the error. You can always delete it if it doesn't work.
I would also suggest making sure you have the latest video and monitor drivers. there are lots of sites that you can download drivers from. Depending upon which graphics card you have, for example ATI or NVidia, or others, you can go to their home pages and get the latest drivers for your graphics. With respect to monitor drivers. Windows XP has an adequate supply of drivers that should be okay, provided you have the installation disc but again you can find specific drivers for whatever monitor you have by going to a drivers site.. I use the following.......

http://www.driverguide.com/

If you dont know what your graphics card or monitor are called you can use the Dxdiag command by clicking on the Start menu, then click on run and type dxdiag in the space provided then click okay. You'll get a screen appearing called DirectX Diagnostic tool, click on the display tab and you'll see the name of your particular graphics card and lower down it should tell you what display you have. You can save this report if you wish.

You may have to download a copy of Direct X if you have no 3D games installed such as first person shooters and simulation games like Microsofts flight sim. Again it can be obtained free from the following address:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/directx/default.mspx

I hope this helps, but if not, I'm sorry.

Thanks for the link Wildting2

#29: When you first click on the Activate icon, you need to extract all files. Once you see the extracted files, you need to again click on the activate icon (which will now show up as a key) before you click on the Setup icon. This will install the full version and not the trial.

I made the mistake before of only clicking on the setup icon after the files were extracted because I thought I already clicked on Activate. This only gave me the trial version. Hope that helps!

Looks to be a good game - Alawar's games are highly recommended. If you like this type of game, go to www.newgrounds.net or www.crazymonkeygames.com and search for Raiden X. It is a web game, but it's quite awesome. You will be addicted.

What kind of dumb comment is that? I'm running XP Pro sp2 (all updates), and for compatability mode, I tried Win98/ME. Lets try to be helpful here, not flamers.

Game doesnt work right. It loads and as soon as the ship and enemies load, I get a "invalid floating point operation error". Click ok, and the game plays, but after killing about 1/3 of the enemies, I consistently get a BSOD for "qsoftaud.sys - address bleh-bleh". Tried it in compatability mode too. I'm passing on this one.

While I can't spea to the Camma Control issue (sorry, Guy, comment 13), but I did, indeed get a "Gamma Control not supported" error. Oh, my, many times over. Thank God for Task Manager! But I feel so unwarned many times! Gamma control, 3D devices...How can we be left so unprepared and unarmed? If something other than the usual user would have installed, shouldn't we be told?

White Rabbit aka Stephen, I have come to trust your advice. Anything, Stephen? Someone? Anyone? Giveaway folks? This looks like a great game and I love GotD.

Looks great, but Activate doesn't work for me. I've used the GotD "Active" exe many times in the past with no problems but this time I got a "failed to connect." Too bad since this looks promising. I'll still try the 60-min. promo.

This great stuff. Thanks, but just like the last Crusaders I seem to get only an hour of play due to "trial version". Does a register key come with this "free" version. Could you tell me how to access it. Thanks again for all the work you do.
