To collect the precious gems that will please his girlfriend, Jack will have to dig corridors and get rid of stones that block his way. Sometimes Jack comes across a locked door. To open these doors Jack will have to find the right keys. But more trouble is waiting for Jack: Nasty little creatures are living in this darkness. Jack should avoid these creatures as well as he should stay away from water or swamps. To make matters even worse, Jack´s girl is not very patient, so time is yet another problem.

There is a never ending stream of blocks coming on your way! Do you manage do catch and place them all in an appropriate position? If you are too slow, the stone is lost. If that happens too often you might lose a whole column. Of course it is possible to quickly grab a block to place it anywhere. But if you do not plan ahead, the rows become too high which means game-over again! To be able to successfully break down, you need to stack the blocks cleverly. You start out in Aquanoid with a simple bat and a ball. Your task is to destroy all tiles on the playing field by hitting them with the ball. Some of the tiles hide precious extras inside such as an extra life or a flying bat. Others may contain less desirable extras such as a captured bat. Some submarines and sea monsters are going after you and you should try to away from them at all costs.
